Semestral project
The semestral project contributes 30 points. See the Semestral Project instructions for the timeline, submission requirements, detailed evaluation, and AI policy, and choose a topic from the Semestral Project Catalogue.
Midterm test
The examination consists of a 90-minute written test. In selected cases, a brief oral examination may follow to clarify or further discuss the submitted answers.
Course assessment
To obtain the course assessment (zápočet), you must earn at least 20 points out of the combined 40 points available from the midterm test (30 pts) and the approved project proposal (10 pts).
Exam
At least 20 points must be earned from the exam (two-hour written test). A brief oral examination may follow in selected cases to clarify answers. Course assessment must normally be completed before taking the exam. The first exam session may be treated as an exception.
Final grade
Both the course assessment (zápočet) and the exam are required to complete the course. The final grade is determined by the sum of points earned from the project, midterm test, and exam, subject to the separate minimum requirements above.
